The RAM jeep Active Noise Cancellation, or ANC, in your vehicle is designed to pick up on low frequency road noise and cancels out any undesirable sounds, making your drive a quieter and smoother ride. The RAM ANC system in your vehicle can become a major headache when adding aftermarket equipment, such as subwoofers. The RAM ANC microphones will send feedback from the aftermarket subs low frequency through the speakers, making an odd sound or random pops that come and go, distorting your music.Â
The RAM Jeep ANC bypass harness will plug into your ANC module located under either of the front seats or under the steering wheel column, above the brake pedal. This will bypass the ANC microphones and cancel any noise from escaping from your new subwoofers.
